The 2008 ShinerWeen Alien Ball "LOST IN THE UNIVERSE" will be held on Friday Oct 24, 2008 at the Webber College Gym from 8:00pm till midnight.
SHINERWEEN is an alien-themed party with black lights illuminating the “Center of the Universe”. SHINERWEEN is open to the alien public, and is highly recommended if you are looking for an alienating experience. Tickets will only be available at the door, for $15 per alien, or $40 per alien couple.
BYOC, for those who are uneducated in Shiner verbiage,
this means you have to Bring Your Own Cooler, of whatever you want. If you show up without any,
you will have to pay some stranger an enormous amount of money to
partake in the night's drinking.
Two bands will entertain the throng of aliens with classic rock music.
Jr. & the MD’s and Station 6 will perform non-stop
music, which may even include the alien classic “One-Eyed, One-Horned,
Flying Purple-Eater”. But then again, it may not, but these two classic rock and roll bands will blow your socks off with their energy.
